Mundo Vegan believes in wholesome, organic, non-GMO, vegan food. We have created a vegan world for you here at 20 Church Street Montclair, as our name translates to Vegan World. 

Mundo Vegan is a setting where your senses, appetite and desire for a delicious, healthy meal can harmoniously coexist.

We strive to satisfy all who dine at Mundo Vegan (if for some reason you are not satisfied, please let us know at the time of your visit so we can make it right at that moment and accommodate your needs).
Our food is a blend of healthy and comforting family favorites that we grew up enjoying – with a vegan twist. 

We are dedicated to organic, non-GMO, palm oil free, and gluten free (where indicated on menu). We believe that a delicious meal should be good for your heart and soul. We are thrilled to be able to provide that for you at Mundo Vegan.

Our menu changes with the local seasons and what is available from our vendors, so please check back often to see how we are creatively using the local/seasonal harvest in our menu.

Who we are:
​As residents of Montclair for over 20 years, our love for the community and animals is the reason we opened our first restaurant in the heart of Montclair Center, Church Street. As first time small business owners and ethical vegans, our commitment to our guests, staff and animals is what drives us to do what we do everyday, Thank you for helping us continue to grow as we venture into our third year in business. 

Fanny Fuentes-Phalon has always had a passion for cooking savory food for family and friends. A graduate of William Paterson University, she also attended County College of Morris for Restaurant Management and Culinary Studies, and is an avid animal lover, gardener and yogi. Fanny believes that even the smallest change in diet can positively influence ones health, the lives of animals, the planet and other earthlings.

Tracey Phalon​, prior to becoming a public school teacher, worked in and managed a variety of food service establishments and retail sales. Also a graduate of William Paterson College and Montclair State University for her MA, Tracey is dedicated to providing flavorful, homemade food (in any budget range) that will help everyone live a cruelty-free life.
